why do you make excuses for your artwork when they are clearly masterpieces!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :argh: you got some serious explaining to do! no but seriously, the setail is exquisite, the figure in the drawing, did she come from your mind or is she modeled after someone? and the subtle lighting of the face mixed with the slightly darker shade is, and i'm guessing here, to emphasize shadows on the face? hehe i felt like going all out.... and if i'm wrong on anything, lemme know, but the one thing i am certain i'm not wrong on is the fact that this piece, in simplest of simple terms, rocks. ok i'm done.
