Vibrant Purple Sunset by DM7 Vibrant Purple Sunset by DM7
After getting tired of doing my pencil sketches (gesture drawing and random faces with shading in order to learn more about values), I fired up Painter 11. Opened a default template and started painting with knife, then oil flat brush. I'm surprised how it has turned out! :D Yay, painting on one layer with no effects in photoshop has really helped! Not to mention the values study I have been doing. :D

Painter 11, imagination, and about 1 hour.

This is incredibly beautiful. You've inspired me to attempt the same.

Thank you! I was afraid I might have overused pink.. lol! I'm not a type of person who like pink that much at all (I refuse to wear anything pink for example), but it's a fun color to play with, can bring out some unexpected color blending experience as this one has showed for me. :D

Eh.. sorry for my rambling...heh

pink and cyan are really great for creating a sense of vibrancy, just really hard to use without going overboard, which is why I'm impressed by the way you manage it!
