Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Merry Belated Christmans and Happy New 2008!

Hello people,

I thought I should update my journal to wish you all a great Christmas (I know it's late; hence, the "belated" word) and a great New 2008! Happy Holidays!

<div class="heading>Artist's Comment on Art Improvement Progress

As of lately, I have been a mentor to two mentees at ConcentArt on color theory. Somehow, this experience is helping me huge time in making some breaththroughs with colors and values. I'm able to dare more now and feel that my arts have more balanced feeling to it now than before the breakthrough. It is like I suddenly realize the key of the saturation and desaturation balance as well as the values. The key is to get people's attention into the artwork and keep them "trapped" in it for the longest time possible. Right? I believe I'm getting hang of that. Watch out people, world domination is coming! Muhahaha! Just kidding! Obviously, I'm pretty thrilled with my progress and wish to share that to everybody in my journal. Not to mention that I'm even more thrilled to work as a colorist at [link] and [link]. I'll get started working after the new year. In the meaning time, I'm working on other two job projects that I still need to finish. Holidays made it so hard to complete anything!

My 2008 goals:
- Improve creature, humanoid, animial, and alien anatomy
- Perspective practice/improvement... tilted/rotated camera for a more dramatic feeling.
- Master of realism in both speed painting and fine art style
- Realistic textures in both speed painting and fine art style
- More patience for details
- Breakthrough into professional field level (maybe too huge goal for me now, but eh... gotta try!)
