It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Ok I'm going to type whatever comes up in my mind beause first of all I'm so tired that I can't remember what I was going to say in the journal. I do know that I wanted to say something in my journal, but now when i actually am doing it, i don't remember. lol Where did my brain go?

Anyways, I'm now focused at drawing human figures and something similar to that. I'm hoping to improve in that area so I can express some more. It's also for a project that I'm planning on doing and that requires two human figures... so I figured that it would be better if I practice those figures before I actually do it... saving me from pulling my hair, etc.

Mainly right now I'm frustrated with the persective thing associated with human figures, I can never figure that out. Again like I've mentioned before, I just need to practice some more, then hopefully... I get more familiar with its shape and how it really works.

Any tips, critics, comments, suggestions, thoughts, and emotions are always welcome here. I don't care if it's a hardcore critic... I like it in fact, please help me out, I really need it espeially in human figure or otherwise i never learn.

Mmm anything else?.... no I can't think of anything else... ok...

I guess its time to say good bye for now. Yeah...
