Description

I wasn't really happy with my current art's level so study time. Did it from a famous sculpture, "Ugolino and His Sons" by Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux.

Want to see how I did it? Here's the progress gif. Hands study progress by DM7

Overall this is very well done! The proportions are perfect as well as the structures of the body.
However you should not be afraid of getting those darks in! It needs a little bit more contrast to get the realistic look you desire. I think it would give more depth to the piece and create more visual impact. I get that impact from the photo, but not so much in your art because it's to much on the same tone.
This is just an advice I hear from a lot of youtube artists and I think it would favor your future art, so it turns out even more beautiful that already is. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>
Just an amazing job on those textures as well! Some parts need more contrast as I said before, but it's nicely done!

Congratulations! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt=";)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="387" title=";) (Wink)"/>
